Nancy moved here to Tennessee from Connecticut in 2019 with her husband John. She has been sewing since she was a child, learning from her grandmother and mother. She has recently developed a method of upcycling denim jackets and skirts. The skirts are embroidered with flowers along the bottom hem. The jackets have fabric adhered and sewn to the back. She will take custom orders if you have a jacket or skirt of your
own that you would like upcycled.

Nancy is always trying new crafts and has a series of framed art using Scrabble tiles. She also makes playing card holders out of fabric and recycled CDs. They are perfect for little hands or for the elderly who might have arthritis or other ailments that affect their grip. Lots of interesting fabrics are available.

Last Christmas Nancy made a pillowcase for her
grandchild who was into StarWars. It became his ‘special pillow’! She now makes pillowcases for all the toddlers in the family every Christmas in different themes and it has become a family tradition. The pillowcases fit a 13” x 18” pillow and are available in several prints. They are sewn with French seams so that no raw edges are visible.
