Helen’s mother taught her to run a sewing machine when she was 11 years old. She enjoyed doing crafts as a child, and she’s stuck with it over the years. She branched out a few years ago and, along with her sewing, she ended up getting an embroidery machine which led to 2 machines. Also, she has 2 vinyl cutting machines. She enjoys machine embroidering flour sack towels and making custom-made shirts and jackets with her vinyl machines. She and her husband, Roger, do a lot of craft fairs as well as outside orders for people. They have built a lot of their work based on word of mouth and craft fairs. They are looking forward to the next chapter working with the FACS team and building new relationships with new vendors.
