On Saturday, July 19 from 12:30 to 4:00, Amanda Ricker will teach this class in creating stoneware items. Let’s build something and get a little dirty with clay. Students will use hand-building methods to create a stoneware item. Learn about the different types of pottery, different types of clay, and get a taste for creating. Each student will make up to 4 items and pick a finishing color. The items to be made will be either mini gnomes or mushrooms. Then the class can choose from 4 other projects: a 6″ gnome, a pitcher, a couple of different mug shapes, or a wall pocket. Students will pick up their finished creations after August 2nd.
Aprons are not required but are a good idea. Dress comfortably. Bring a drink in a closed container.
This class has not been finally priced because the price is determined by the number of students who are interested in signing up. The price will range from $75 to $125. The more students we have, the less the price so talk to your friends about doing this really fun and informative class together. Mandi is a wonderful instructor. Please call the store at 931-210-5599 if you are interested so she will know how much product to order and therefore the price of the class.
To officially register you must pre-pay. When registering either below or in person at the store, you will be charged $125. If we have enough students allowing the reduction of the price, those students will be refunded the difference.
