Experimenting with PanPastels and Jean Corbett (CL-JC895)

Jean will be using PanPastels to demonstrate the diversity of these lovely pastels. The first card below is one of the cards we will make in class. This is a stamped image that we will work with although it looks very artistic. If you have used oil pastels, stick pastels or even chalk, these are definitely different. Come play with them to see how you can use them in all your artwork. Jean has suggested if you have a project which needs a little work, bring it along to class to see how Pan Pastels can enhance your work. It is wonderful on most surfaces and mixed with most paints. Register soon to experiment with us!

Journaling with Flowers with Sharon Shallcross (CL-SS897)

Mini Star Book with Brenda Preuss (CL-BP883)

This class is a repeat of the one held in March due to the request of several people. HOWEVER those people need to let me know soon if they are coming to this class. There is a minimum of 4 people required for this class to be held. So if you missed this class or if you were one of the participants who wanted the class repeated, be sure to register. For this offering there will be 3 themes and a few color choices, so give us your preference at time of registration. Choose either Friendship, Humorous or Whimsical. Color choices can be a 3-toned color (give me 2 colors you would like in case I do not have one of the 2), primary colors, and rainbow colors with white pages. I may even do a slight twist on the original book.

October 20, 2018  Saturday  $25 in FACS’ Classroom

1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. (8 Seats)

Wire-Wrapped Leaf Pendant Workshop with Susan Smathers (CL-SS902)

If you are like Susan, you enjoy the autumn weather and colors.  She especially enjoys the leaves on our native trees in Tennessee. The changing of the leaf colors is great to watch.  She is offering an opportunity to create a leaf shaped pendant in a class at Framing + Arts & Crafts Supply Store in the Crossville Outlet Center.

Each person will have a completed handmade necklace when they leave.  You will learn how to make a pendant using jewelry tools, crafting wire, and beads. This class will take you through the planning stages of making a pendant, choosing the tools needed, and constructing a finished product.  You will have a choice between different colors of wire and beads. Each person will have a unique pendant.  The cost including all of the supplies and the instruction is $25.  Students do not need to bring supplies; however, they are welcome to bring jewelry tools if they have some. Just bring your interest in learning something new.

Pre-registration is needed for this event so that we will have the supplies needed for each of you.  Please call FACS at (931) 210-5599, go one their website at www.facstn.com or stop by the front desk of the shop in the Crossville Outlet Center to register.
