Marty Gibson and Nancy Winn became bandmates nearly a decade ago at Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church, in Cumberland County Tennessee. They are foundational members of the Praise Band – now known as “REVELATION” – and serve as worship leaders for the Sacred Encounters church service, Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM. Join Us!
The team of “Gibson and Winn” creates original praise and worship music to enhance their contemporary worship service with a unique blend of genres to keep things interesting and fun. Additionally, in the Wesleyan tradition, the two have been known to rewrite the lyrics of secular songs and rearrange the music of traditional hymns to surprise and delight the congregation.
Marty is a music education professional, with many years of experience in all manner of performance and pedagogy. Nancy brings more than 30 years of experience in technology, business, and finance to the team. The pair has combined their right- and left-brained skill sets to create Gibson & Winn (GW Productions, LLC), an independent, local production company.
Cumberland County is home to myriad creative, talented singers and songwriters. Gibson and Winn offer a business platform that local musicians can leverage to assist in the creation and distribution of their songs and albums. We want to help connect our local musicians with the world, so that they can share their gifts unbounded by geography, technology, or the challenges of business.
We strongly believe that our community is better with music, and we think you will enjoy all that these “creatives” have to offer!
Maker’s Dozen was recorded, edited and mixed by Tony Perry, owner of Star Recording Studio, in Crossville, TN. Maker’s Dozen is a compilation of just a few of the songs written and arranged by the Gibson & Winn duo to enhance their contemporary worship service.
